This is a nicely decorated drum with the Scottish Thistle and Celtic knotwork in tones of St. Andrew's blue. It also has knotwork highlights in olive green with deep yellow dots.

Quality Irish goat skin on solid wood frame. This bodhran comes with a beater. The legend of the Children of Lir goes back to the age of the Tuatha De Danann tribe, the Goddess Danu and of Lir, the lord of the sea. The legend goes that the children of Lir were turned into beautiful swans by their jealous step mother. A story of the legend is included with the drum.
